It is a well known fact that music is the international language. If music is the art of sound, then it is capable of being trans-cultural and have broad appeal to listeners throughout the world. Music created from the heart touches the hearts of listeners everywhere. The music I have been blessed to create comes from the depths of my heart. I feel deeply about life, this world, our Earth, and about the people who live on this planet. I can honestly say that I love humanity. This is the human race I am part of and I care about its future.
As a man I am dedicated to peace. This means having a peaceful heart, meditating, praying, being peaceful in my communications with others, being a man of peace, envisioning peace throughout the world. I am keenly aware of the anger, hatred and violence prevalent in the world. Humanity must eventually resolve its differences if there is going to be a world peace.
What can I do as an individual to help bring peace to the world? I can make the music of peace and harmony. My love naturally is infused in every note. As a composer who is spiritually minded, I am convinced that it is the spirit of God who inspires me to make this music. I can say that it is God indeed who makes this music through me. Yes, I have practiced the piano most of my life and learned my craft and done the homework. Surely, my own personal feelings go into the music but I can also state with confidence that it is the Holy Spirit who makes this music through me. I am the soul through which the spirit pours Itself into me like a waterfall and creates the pure flow of this music.
This may seem like a bold statement. Perhaps most composers claim that they alone create their own music. But, I know that when I hear music made from the heart and soul of great musicians and composers like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms, I hear God in that music and I know that the music came into being through a high degree of inspiration.
I have long been fascinated by Asian music, especially Chinese and Japanese but also ancient Greek, Persian, Indian, modern African, ethnic and Balinese Gamelan music. The spiritual qualities of Asian music have long influenced my work
Of course, I was raised on European classical music, from Renaissance, Baroque, to Classical, Romantic and 20th Century modern composers. As a mature piano student, I was virtually addicted to the French Impressionist composers, namely Debussy and Ravel. But I was also enamored with 20th century French and European music, in general. One could say that these diverse musical traditions have all helped mold my personal style in music.
The truth is that no matter how much I have learned and acquired musically, I must admit that the inspiration which drives my music comes from the Divine Spirit.

When I align my consciousness with Spirit, music is created and art is born. When I am out of phase and not in alignment with spirit, then it is my personal ego that makes music and when that happens, the music is not very good.
Yet, I am one of those people who loves God with all my heart and soul because I know I am guided through life by an inner and higher power who inspires me to create the beauty I feel within myself.
One cannot deny such power, it is INVESTED in me. Perhaps it took me some time to discover it and develop my spiritual awareness. It is a slow process and takes years to evolve. Yet, there comes a point in one’s spiritual life that one becomes aware and conscious. This is the moment of spiritual enlightenment. To become aware of cosmic consciousness, the universe, time and space, multiple dimensions, and the ultimate reality of a Divine Intelligence permeating all existence.
Thus I have evolved into a man of love and compassion. I love humanity as a whole and work for the higher good of all through music and art. I know no other way other than to be good to others, to be kind, giving, helpful, loving and working for the betterment of all.
I work for peace in the world through music and art. This is my way and I endeavor to be forthright and honest, revealing my inner truth in the most candid way possible.
As a composer who is inspired by the Universal All Loving God, I have done my best to bring forth music of undeniable beauty and truth. That is the best any composer can do. When I listen it back, I often think: Did I do that? It’s so beautiful. How could I have done that on my own? I marvel at the beauty and exclaim how is it possible? I did not compose that, it just revealed itself to me.
When I listen to the music, I am at peace. Hundreds, in some cases, many thousands of people over the years have heard this music and have reported healing and spiritual upliftment.
That which has been gifted to me in life is given back to humanity through this music. My sincere intention is peace, harmony, healing and spiritual renewal. The medium is beauty through music. The goal is peace and harmony in the world.
Nature is the common denominator that unites us all together on this planet Earth. Every nation in this world possesses great natural beauty to behold. Our planetary home is packed with awesome beauty both above and below the sea. I derive my inspiration from natural beauty, from the western American deserts in the blooming springtime, after the winter rains. I experience the dramatic and awe-inspiring beauty of the Sierra Mountains in California, the Cascade range in the American Northwest, the Rockies and coastal range of the Pacific Coast. Who could not be profoundly moved by the seashore, or waterfalls, rain forests or recording music inside a Lava Tube in Hawaii?
I drink in the beauty when I behold it and let it enthrall my whole being. I am a man who loves nature and the beauty within it. I learn from it and grow as a person into a better man. I have gone up into the foothills and recorded music “Live” in nature on the most advanced synthesizers powered by truck batteries and have marveled at the incredible beauty surrounding me, impacting the music, impinging my soul with magical and wondrous thoughts and images.
Imagine what it feels like to play music and record it next to a waterfall in the mountains, feeling the caress of the summer sun on my face, gazing upon majestic beauty all around me and letting my fingers touch each note on the keyboard with vision and love.
The result is this music. May it bring more peace, harmony and health to your life. May it bring you happiness and contentment. May it inspire you and open new vistas of appreciation. May it bring more love and beauty into your life. If healing is required, may it bring you health and wellness.
